Challenges to NM kids’ well-being illuminated in yearly ‘Kids Count’ report

Amber Wallin, executive director of New Mexico Voices for Children, in a conversation with KRWG Director of Content Anthony Moreno discusses challenges to children’s well-being, including those exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic, but also some strides that have been made. The organization produced the “2022 Kids County Data Book” that examines a number of child well-being indicators.
